To make soil science more usable, collaborative, and grounded in the realities of working land.
My consulting work exists to connect research with practice. It was created as a way to apply my academic knowledge in settings where it can support real decisions, real people, and real land. Through this work, I partner with producers, researchers, and organizations to navigate soil health, land-based data, and questions of resilience.
Soil Health Advising
Interpretation of soil and water data, indicator selection, and alignment with land management goals
Monitoring and Data Strategy
Design or refinement of protocols, sampling approaches, and analysis frameworks
Program and Project Support
Guidance for research teams, carbon and ecosystem service efforts, or conservation planning initiatives
Writing and Communication
Technical and narrative writing for grants, reports, outreach materials, or education tools
Workshops and Facilitation
Training sessions that center science, practicality, and collaborative learning
One-on-One Consulting for Land Stewards
Practical, context-specific advising based on your goals, resources, and landscape conditions
Ecological Assessments
Field-based evaluations of soil, water, and landscape function to support conservation, restoration, or regenerative goals
I take on a limited number of consulting projects each season. If you're working on something connected to soil, water, or land health and you're looking for someone who brings both scientific expertise and field-based insight, I'd be glad to talk.
